1. Conference Date:

●  Physical (Virtual mode is only for the overseas participants)

3. Conference Fields:

●  Language and Culture

●  Literature

4. Output:

●  Paper and Oral Presentation

5. Presentation Language:

●  Traditional Chinese / Simplified Chinese / English (for both papers and oral presentation slides)

●  Cantonese / Mandarin / English (for oral presentation)

6. Eligible Applicants:

●  All bachelor’s degree students of humanities (Not open for postgraduate students)

    (Associate degree and higher diploma students from Hong Kong higher education institutes are also welcome)

7. Awards:

(1). Best Paper Award:

●  HK$1,000 book voucher and a trophy

(2)  Recommended Paper Award

●  HK$200 book voucher and a trophy

(3). Certificate of Participation

8. Format:

A. Abstracts:

●  Please follow the academic writing format (refer to Annex I)

B. Papers:

●  Please follow the academic writing format (refer to Annex I)

 (Word document format is highly recommended for submission. If your paper includes images, please submit it in both WORD and PDF format.)

C. Oral Presentation Slides:

●  Please follow the academic writing format (refer to Annex I)

9. Citation style:

Please include footnotes and a reference list for your Chinese papers and presentations, and a reference list for your English papers and presentations.

 For the required citation style, please refer to Annex I.

10. Word Limit for Papers and Time Limit for Oral Presentations:

A. Word Limit for Papers (word count includes only the main body of the paper; the limit does not apply to words in footnote or appendix):

●  Chinese papers: No more than 4,000 words

●  English papers: No more than 2,500 words

B. Time Limit for Oral Presentations:

●  Both Chinese and English oral presentations: Maximum 12-15 minutes (Depending on the Number of Papers in the Panel)

●  Application may be submitted as a group (co-authoring of a paper).

● Submission of multiple abstracts by the same applicant, whether as a solo author or a member of a group, will NOT be accepted.

●  Multiple research fields may be indicated in the application form.
