Introduction
As the world rapidly evolves with advancements in technology, shifting societal values, and emerging global challenges, the need for innovative education and talent development strategies has never been more critical.
The Academy for Applied Policy Studies and Education Futures (AAPSEF) and Academy for Educational Development and Innovation (AEDI) are jointly organising the conference "Education Futures: Talent Development and Innovation for a Dynamic World" which will be held on 23 April 2026 at the Tai Po Campus of EdUHK.
In celebration of the University's 10th anniversary of retitling, this one-day conference will bring together educators, industry leaders and professionals from across the region and beyond. Together, we will explore the transformative pathways in talent development through the following six key strands:

Strategic Management and Organisational Effectiveness
Through keynote presentations and panel discussions, participants will engage in meaningful dialogue, share best practices, and develop actionable strategies for enhancing talent development in their respective fields. The conference aims to foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders, paving the way for innovative solutions that align education with the dynamic needs of society.
A dedicated Journal Session will be organised to support young researchers in preparing and submitting their articles for publication in recognised academic journals. The session will provide practical guidance on manuscript preparation, journal selection, peer-review processes, and publication strategies.
