The information collected from you will be used by the Faculty of Humanities (FHM), The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) for the purpose of processing the Undergraduate Academic Conference in Humanities (UAC), providing subsequent service (including data matching and communication with UAC's applicants), promotion/publicity of FHM and UAC, as well as quality assurance/monitoring by internal and external bodies. 

 

Please note that it is voluntary to supply the personal data stipulated in this form. However, the provision of incomplete information may affect the processing of your application to UAC. All responses will be kept confidential.

The personal data collected may be transferred or shared with other department(s)/unit(s)/centre(s) of EdUHK but will not be transferred to outside parties. The collected data will be purged one (1) year after the event. EdUHK fully supports and observes recognised standards of protection in the security and confidentiality of personal data, as stipulated in the requirements of the HKSAR's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. You have the right to request access to and correction of information about you held by the University. The University may charge you a fee to cover the administration overhead incurred.
