Dr QIU Mengyuan Bella

Dr Mengyuan Qiu is a Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Social Sciences. After obtaining PhD degree in Applied Economics from South China University of Technology, she has joined The Education University of Hong Kong as a research assistant since 2019. Her research interests include climate change and economic impacts, regional economic imbalance, and urban development. She has extensive research experiences in the social responses to climate change in history, regional innovation and economic growth, and urban entrepreneurship, as well as economic theorical and statistical analyses. She has published more than 10 papers in both English and Chinese SSCI/CSSCI-Indexed journals.
