Mr BONG Ngan Wing Adam

Adam Bong obtained his Bachelor of Science (Major: Biology, Minor: Italian Studies) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Education and Master of Social Science degrees in Social Work and Psychology.

Adam joined the Department of Social Science in EdUHK as Lecturer. Before joining the University, he has engaged in the field of education and social work for many years. He also has relevant teaching experience in counselling and special education. 

As a member of teaching staff, Adam is currently taking up different educational duties and is responsible for teaching a variety of courses. He has involved in conducting the Curriculum and Methods in Liberal Studies, service-based learning and General Education courses. He is also a field work supervisor in local schools where he mainly supports the student-teachers for their professional development. 

Adam has special interest in teaching, special education and curriculum design. He has actively engaged in the knowledge transfer. He has recently participated in action research in the areas of service learning and special education.

Adam looks forwards to contributing to the University by putting extra effort in teaching and guiding the students who will be the pillars in Hong Kong society.
