Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Global and Environmental Studies

*This programme has ceased new intake from 2022 and will be phased out after 2024/25.

INTRODUCTION

This is an interdisciplinary, cross-cultural programme designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the increasing interactions amongst globalisation, environmental change, and economic, political, and social developments, as well as strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. The unique features of the programme include the following.

大學三年級生Sherry和Serena與二年級生Cynthia和Chloe,一同參加了「WWF環境保育領袖培訓計劃」,揀選了紙包飲品盒作為關注的議題。「我曾誤以為這種盒子可放入藍色廢紙回收箱,後來發現錯了,但一直以為不能回收。早前看到綠色力量推動回收飲品盒的計劃,才了解到原來這是可再造的資源。」於教育大學修讀全球及環境研究的Sherry道。
