She is enthusiastic to understand and predict the sources, transport, fate, and contribution of organic pollutants to affect local and regional environment. Her career goal is to become a profound environmental researcher and serve in academia.

She received her MSc in sustainable tourism from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on the visitors' attitudes and behaviors in protected areas in the greater China region.

Self-introduction: Mr Hossain is a PhD student in the Department of Science and Environment Studies (SES) under the supervision of Dr. TSANG Yiu Fai, Dr MAN Yu Bon Brian and Prof WONG Ming Hung. His current research interest focused on the occurrence, characterization and removal of microplastics in wastewater.

Self-introduction: Mr MUHAMMAD Tariq KHAN is a first-year Ph.D. student at the Department of Science and Environmental Studies (SES), The Education University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. Prior to his enrollment at EdUHK, he was graduated from the School of Environment, Beijing Normal University, China. His research involves Occurrence and Removal of micropollutants and Endocrine Disruptive Chemicals (EDCs) in wastewater treatment processes, Healthcare waste management, and associated human health impacts.

Her research interest is the detection of endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) in environmental and human samples.

His research interests include indoor air quality control, photocatalysis for air pollution degradation, and environmental management.

He is pursuing his PhD degree under the supervision of Dr. LI Wai Chin. Before his enrollment at EdUHK, he was graduated from Sylhet Agricultural University, Sylhet-3100, Bangladesh. His research interest includes a heavy metal(loid)s in the food chain, agronomy, and perception.

Saif holds a ‘Master of Science’ (MS) in Aquaculture from the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Bangladesh and a ‘Bachelor of Science’ (B.Sc (Honours)) in Fisheries from the Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh. His research interests include Fish Feed Management and Environmental Pollution Management for sustainable food production.

He has obtained a MSc degree in Environmental Management and is now pursuing a doctorate with his research in Persistent Organic Pollutants and heavy metals removal in aquaculture. His research interests include aquaculture technology, toxins and heavy metals removal, wastewater treatment, and sustainability.
