Dr. Jesus Alfonso D. Datu appointed as a Senior Associate Editor of School Psychology International

Dr. Jesus Alfonso (Jess) D. Datu, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Special Education and Counselling has been recently appointed as a Senior Associate Editor of the School Psychology International, a reputable international journal that “aims to promote good practice in school and educational psychology throughout the world”. School Psychology International is currently published by the SAGE Publications. This journal has an impact factor of 1.431 in 2019. It is also ranked as a Q3 journal in Educational Psychology based on the Web of Science database and Q2 journal in Developmental and Educational Psychology, Education, as well as Psychiatry and Mental Health based on the Scimago journal ranking list. Dr. Datu will support this journal in overseeing the review process of submitted articles and contributing to policies that can potentially strengthen the international impact and social justice initiatives of this journal for the next two years. Prior to this appointment, he served as an Associate Editor of this journal for more than 3 years.

Dr. Datu has also been sitting in the editorial boards of other refereed journals such as being Associate Editor in Current Psychology, Associate Editor in Frontiers in Psychology: Positive Psychology Co-Editor in Psychology of Journal of Happiness Studies, and Associate Editor in International Journal of Disability, Development, and Education.
