The Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) has set up under the Innovation and Technology Fund the STEM Internship Scheme to encourage STEM students to gain innovation and technology (I&T)-related work experience during their studies and to foster their interest in pursuing a career in I&T after graduation, so as to enlarge the local I&T talent pool.
Please note that the internship under the STEM Internship Scheme must be a non-credit bearing internship. STEM Internship Scheme 2023 has ended successfully. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to meet with you again in the coming year.

Points to note:
- Students, please note that the internship under ITC-funded STEM Internship Programme must be a non-credit bearing internship. Credit bearing internship is not eligible to obtain the allowance of the Scheme from the Innovation and Technology Fund.
- CDS requires that the internship takes place in 4 to 8 consecutive weeks (not more than 59 consecutive calendar days) within the following periods: June to August 2024 for all students.
