Employers, We Need Your Support!

Employers interested in having interns from the University are welcomed to contact us at (852) 2948 6245. See “Information Flyer 2019” for more details. In the past years, positive feedbacks on our students’ performance were given by our placement organizations and below are comments our employers have given to our students.

Shing Yuen Lam – Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Education for Sustainability
Africa Impact

I don’t have any areas of improvement for the student, she was great on project. This student was excellent on project. She showed enthusiasm for every task she did, as well as efficiency and great time management skills. She brought new ideas, but really took the time to understand our project and the goals behind it in order to give students and boat drivers the best learning environment. She also got along with all the other volunteers, was very kind, genuine, and patient. I can’t say enough how helpful she was and how much she would be welcomed back.

Tong Yui Ching – Bachelor of Education (Honours) (English Language)
Wolfgang-Goethe University

YUI CHING TONG showed outstanding committment especially in areas of communication, team work, and task based work committment. Her competencies in these areas are beyond what can be expected from an intern. We would therefore nominate her for the Intern of the Year Award.

Chan Ka Man Iris – Bachelor of Arts (Honours) (Language Studies)
German Industry & Commerce Greater China (GIC)

Iris was rather shy in the beginning. She could become more self-confident. Iris performed well and was a very open minded team member during her stay with us. Her English skills are excellent.

Liang Jianlin – Bachelor of Education (Honours) (English Language)
German Industry & Commerce Greater China (GIC)

Jenny is a very smart and goal oriented person who is a great asset for any professional environment. She is an outstanding person bridging her own world and values with new environments. She will be very successful in an international context.

Luk Hoi Ching – Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Creative Arts and Culture
Singapore Red Cross Society

Iris is the perfect, model intern. No further areas of improvement required. She is diligent, calm amidst pressure and deadlines. She takes instructions well and has a can-do attitude and is very accommodating. She impresses us with her designs which are very well-thought through. Her pleasant, easy-going nature and friendliness make her a joy to be with anywhere.

Wu Hang Yiu Sharon – Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Special Education
National University of Singapore – School of Design and Environment

Read and think with a critical mind…. patience to listen.. Given her age, maturity and intelligence, i think her performance – personal quality and work performance – are exceptional
