Educational Experiences, Self Identity and Spirituality: A Study on the Well-being among Students from Diverse Cultures in Hong Kong

ABSTRACT

The research findings of this project have filled a gap in terms of increasing social awareness of the importance of the well-being and spirituality of young people. This goal calls for a more deliberate educational focus on providing specific support measures for students in Hong Kong, particularly the immigrant and underprivileged mainstream students.

The social and educational impact of the study is also clear. The findings, along with related publications, provide government officials with evidence that new curriculum initiatives are necessary to promote positive youth development. (presentation PDF)
