The INCU-TECH program is a Government-Industry-University-Research Cooperation project implemented by HKUST Fok Ying Tung Research Institute in Nansha, Guangzhou, which dedicates to seek out extraordinary applied research teams within the Greater Bay Area regions and focus on grooming these promising teams with government funds, industry support and market outreach. Research teams entering into the Program will be granted RMB700,000 initial funds by HKUST-FYTRI.

The Cyberport Creative Micro Fund (Hong Kong Programme)and Cyberport Incubation Programme are offering funding from HK$100,000 to HK$500,000 and comprehensive entrepreneurial supports from co-working spaces, hardware and software facilities, training & mentorship, product and business development to investment opportunities to help start-ups to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
Objective: "BEHub" is designed and implemented by The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong (SRACP) with the aim of inspiring and nurturing the disadvantaged population and members of the public to become social innovators to address the challenges relating to poverty and social exclusion faced by the disadvantaged population, particularly rehabilitated persons, current or ex-drug abusers, ethnic minorities, youth-at-risks, people with disabilities or persons in recovery, through innovative solutions.
Theme: "BEHub" is a theme-based innovative programme focusing on issues of disadvantaged population. It is also a platform to help solve the difficulties encountered by the disadvantaged groups by fostering interactions between the social innovators and the disadvantaged people and nurturing the disadvantaged people to become social innovators.
Eligibility: "BEHub" is open to organisations or individuals, particularly disadvantaged people, aged 18 or above with no bankruptcy order or proceedings during the application.
The Programme: "BEHub" will organise idea generation competitions and support innovative projects at prototype and start-up stages to improve the well-being of local disadvantaged population. Briefing sessions and workshops will be held to bridge the information gap on issues of disadvantaged population. Professional and comprehensive services ranging from group training to individual coaching will be provided before and after funding applications to enable the social innovators to grow and succeed. A professional infrastructure will be established to facilitate people from different sectors to share knowledge and experiences and provide support to the social innovators.
The programme aims to deepen participants’ experience of launching ideas in a multicultural environment and to facilitate business soft-landing and development in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and overseas.
A total of HK$1,000,000 grant* will be given to successful applicants over six months to produce proof of concepts and prototypes.
Entrepreneurship boot camp and training will be provided in the programme, which aims to facilitate team formation and equip applicants with entrepreneurship knowledge and start-up experiences; enable participants to understand the business environment, opportunities and challenges of high potential or cluster-focused areas in Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China and overseas markets.
Eligibility:
Applicant(s) must be individual between the ages of 18 and 30 (inclusive) upon the Programme application deadline.
Applicant(s) must be currently enrolled in or have graduated within three years from a registered post-secondary education institution in Hong Kong, Macau or Guangdong Province.
