Knowledge Transfer with School-Based Teacher Professional Development

  •  Digital Technology for Enhancing Inquiry-Based Project Learning in a Primary School
    (presented by Dr. YEUNG Yau Yuen)

 
As a QEF tendered project, we provide professional support (in form of professional development workshops for teachers, lesson study activities, test-bed research and evaluation of learning etc.) to a primary school to enhance the learning and teaching of their General Studies subject through an effective use digital technology in inquiry-based project learning.

  • Use of Extended Case Study in Teaching and Learning of Environmental Studies: An Overview

Use of Extended Case Studies (ECS) in the teaching and learning of environmental studies was proved to be effective by several researchers including Hungerford and Volk (2000). The presenter will share his experience and evaluation on the use of ECS in undergraduate teaching of environmental studies.
