Knowledge Transfer at EdUHK
Procedures of Licensing of EdUHK IPs

The University’s research and development philosophy focuses on producing world-leading research and transferring our research knowledge, expertise and experience to positively impact on and improve society.  Licensing of intellectual properties is one of the means to benefit the community at large by allowing the sharing of these university-owned, research-based knowledge.

For this, the Knowledge Transfer Sub-office of Research and Development Office has prepared the licensing procedures and related templates covering all EdUHK’s IPs, whether it is partially or wholly, owned by EdUHK regardless the sources of funding. This includes, but not limited to:

  • Patents
  • Copyrights
  • Trademarks
  • Inventions (whether patented or not patented)
  • Trade Secrets

The KT Sub-office will administer EdUHK’s licensing process and coordinate with Finance Office on licensing terms review.
