Enhancing Teacher Orchestration in Students’ Seamless Collaborative Science Inquiry Leveraged by a m-Orchestrate App

ABSTRACT

To manage collaborative science inquiry in a mobile learning environment is always a challenging task for teachers.  How to help teachers orchestrate collaborative learning activities across formal and informal learning settings to enhance young learners’ collaborative learning in science is an important issue.  In this KT sharing session, we will introduce the development of an app termed “m-Orchestrate (‘m’ stands for mobile) app” that provides a practical solution to this question.  This app has been piloted in a primary school.  Preliminary findings will be shared.
