Spectrum Disorder: An Evidence-based Approach for

Developing Positive Efficacy

ABSTRACT

There is a worldwide movement to promote and provide inclusive education. Students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) can be successfully integrated into mainstream classrooms with the collaboration of various stakeholders; and home-school partnerships are crucial to supporting whole-person development of these students. However, not all parents and teachers have the necessary resources, knowledge, or self-efficacy to engage in or even establish effective collaborative partnerships with other stakeholders. The project responds to calls for the further and enhanced development of inclusive education for children with ASD in the Greater China region.
