School-based mini-projects
The Project will support mini-projects that aim to
  • build capacity" in the development of school- based curriculum and
    innovative methods

  • encourage collaboration between teachers and novice teachers to
    facilitate the professional development of both

Under the PIPS project, HKIEd will support the development of these projects
by providing the following:

  • funding of up to HK$ 50,000 per project

  • professional input on the development and implementation of such projects

  • technical support ( classroom materials, videos, etc)

  • venues and support to disseminate these projects across schools

  • assistance in the setting up of a network of project leaders

Interested primary schools are encouraged to submit a 500 words proposal
detailing objectives, scope, implementation and who will benefit.

A maximum of 20 projects will be awarded each year ( 2002-2003 and
2003-2004).The Project Team reserves its right to select proposals that
best bring out the PIPS Project theme.
