The short courses of Mplus will be held October 12nd through 14th, 2012. Mplus is a statistical modeling program that provides researchers with a flexible tool to analyze their data. Mplus offers researchers a wide choice of models, estimators, and algorithms in a program that has an easy-to-use interface and graphical displays of data and analysis results.

The Hong Kong Institute of Education  was  established in 1994 with a heritage of 70 years of teacher training dating to the former colleges of education, It is the only University Grants Committee funded institution dedicated solely to professional teacher education in Hong Kong. It provides doctoral, master and undergraduate degrees, post-graduate diplomas, certificate courses and a range of in-service programmes to around 7,000 pre-service students and serving teachers.

The Assessment Research Centre at the Hong Kong Institute of Education, under the leadership of Professor Wang Wen Chung, has an enviable record in promoting psychometrics not only in China but throughout the whole Asia Pacific region.
