This new programme is designed to meet the rising need for highly skilled professionals who can make effective use of the increasing amount of educational data to support teaching and learning, strategic planning and decision-making in school, higher education and other education related institutions.
This programme aims to cater for graduates with background in Educational Technology, or related disciplines who wish to advance their knowledge and methods in learning and data sciences as well as to apply the knowledge and methods to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
The programme comprises 24 credit points (cps). Each course is worth 3cps.
The programme consists of 24 credit points (cps) comprising 8 core courses. Students normally take one year (Full-time) to complete the programme. They need to attend 4 classes per week which may be held in the daytime/evening on weekdays or Saturdays at the Tai Po Campus, Tseung Kwan O Study Centre and/or Kowloon Tong Satellite Study Centre as decided by the Institute.
