Dr Kris Hartley

Kris Hartley博士獲富布萊特學人獎

Dr Kris Hartley, Assistant Professor at the Department of Asian and Policy Studies (APS), The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), will embark on a six-month teaching fellowship at the Chiang Mai University (CMU) School of Public Policy in Thailand, where he will teach courses on public policy and smart cities. His semester-long engagement with CMU, beginning in January 2020, will generate new connections and collaborative opportunities for EdUHK in a country that is rapidly developing but facing numerous policy challenges.

張成泰博士榮獲AERA Award

Dr Jang Sung Tae, Assistant Professor at the Department of Education Policy and Leadership, has won the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Special Interest Group (SIG) Research on Women and Education (RWE) Selma Greenberg Dissertation Award.


Dr George Ngai’s “Sustainable School Leadership” won a 2019 PROSE Subject Category Finalist Award from the Association of American Publishers.


According to the Ranking Web of Universities (which listed 28,000 universities), Professor Wong Ming-hung, Advisor (Environmental Science) at the Department of Science and Environmental Studies, The Education University of Hong Kong, was among the 3,160 Highly Cited Researchers of all disciplines (as of October 2018) around the world.


Dr Kevin Chan Ka-sing, Dr Ivan Poon Kai-tak at the Department of Psychology and Dr Rebecca Cheung Yuen-man at the Department of Early Childhood Education each recently received the Rising Star Award from the Association for Psychological Science (APS). The award recognises psychology researchers in the earliest stages of their careers whose innovative work has advanced the field.
