To mark the momentous milestone of our renaming as The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), a Commemorative Book to celebrate its birth has been produced. The publication is a collection of historical documents and photos, students’ sharing and impressive visuals of the campus to showcase the transformation path of the University.

Other contents are drawn from HKIEd News, the Institute’s bilingual quarterly e-publication launched in April 2012.

The research projects covered in this magazine are mainly drawn from HKIEd News, the Institute’s bilingual quarterly e-publication launched in April 2012. Most of the research comprises ongoing projects of over two years in duration, funded by the General Research Fund and Early Career Scheme commencing 2012/2013.

20th Commemorative Book: Our People, Our Stories

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, The Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd) launched a commemorative publication entitled Our People, Our Stories, mapping out details of the Institute’s key development stages and telling the captivating stories of its alumni, staff members and students. The book portrays not only stories of HKIEd graduates from over the last two decades, but also those of graduates from the former Colleges of Education. These stories offer glimpses of individuals and their splendid lives shaped by our teacher education. Although the stories are drastically different, each is inspirational in its own right.

This is a book in commemoration of the 15th Anniversary of the HKIEd, featuring the stories of our staff, students, alumni and friends, is a chronicle of HKIEd’s development since 1994.
