Hong Kong Studies is an interdisciplinary field of area studies that takes “Hong Kong” as a central subject of analysis, and The Academy of Hong Kong Studies (AHKS), established in July 2015, is the first academy dedicated to fostering Hong Kong Studies within local tertiary institutions.
