(Honours) programmes, accompanied by specialist components that
meet the particular professional needs of different groups of students;

Field Experience, underpinned by a common timetable
across programmeswith common periods of Field Experience activities. |

the Core Curriculum benefit students? |
| Students will be able to benefit

choices, designed to meet their professional needs; |

flexible semester to allow for student exchanges

| For whom
and when will the Core Curriculum be implemented? |
| The Core Curriculum is currently implemented
in the four-year full-time BEd (Honours) (Early Childhood Education)
programme. It will be extended to the new cohorts of the other five
BEd (Honours) programmes in 2006/07. |
