Participating in the AIA Quest for the Champion Communicator 2005

On 6 February 2006
, Ma Chi-hang, a HKIEd 2005 graduate, was invited to attend a press briefing on a Graduate Employment Survey, in the capacity of a new teacher. His debut interview, in which he recounted his six-month teaching experience, made him an instant hit in the media. His story as a novice teacher working in a testing environment touched the hearts of many, amongst them the press.

On 14 February 2006, in a more in-depth follow up interview with Ma Chi-hang and Mr Chan Tze-leung, his principal at Nam Wah Catholic Secondary School, the Joy of Learning editorial team were similarly deeply moved by the story of these two educators. Though they differ in age, they share the same passion in education and love for their students.
