Tam Mei-po ÃÓ¬üÄ_

* Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Languages) Programme Final Year Student
* Platinum Award winner of 2003-2004 Quality Teacher Development Award Scheme

Professionalism and academic excellence have been Mei-po's targets ever since she set foot at the HKIEd. "When I applied to join the Quality Teacher Development Award Scheme, I made winning the Platinum Award my ultimate goal. On the one hand, I need to fully-equip myself. On the other hand, I know I must work really hard to achieve the best results." Mei-po recollected.

Among various training programmes, overseas exchanges are particularly memorable for Mei-po. She will never forget her trip to Beijing, acting as a student delegate of the 5th China Conference for Outstanding Youth from Overseas. "We are just students but are fortunate enough to have the rare chance of meeting Mr Jia Qinglin, Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. After listening to Mr Jiao, we had a deeper understanding of our country's open policy."
