International Teacher Training Programme
EdUHK provides a great opportunity for student-teachers from overseas partner institutions to gain classroom experience in another cultural setting through its International Teacher Training Programme.
Build your practical knowledge
Becoming a teacher assistant at one of EdUHK ’s affiliated schools on a training attachment lasts from four weeks up to one year. We have a primary school and an early childhood learning centre on campus where you can put theories and initiatives into practice, and discover differences and similarities with students in your own country.
Enjoy campus life
Accommodation on campus is provided for those joining the programme. There is a tailor-made orientation programme for international student-teachers before the training period begins to help you settle in. Student-teachers are also welcome to join activities and excursions with other EdUHK students organised by the Global Affairs Office throughout the academic year.
These openings are only open to members of our partner network. Student-teachers on the programme are counted towards the balance under the Student Exchange Agreement signed between your institution and EdUHK .
