Vivi Lachs is the Creative Director of Highwire, a City Learning Centre for schools in inner-London, England. Previously she taught Drama, Literature and Special Needs before becoming an Advisory Teacher for IT. She has worked with schools to produce 7 CD ROMs and numerous websites of multimedia work authored by students aged 5-17. Many have won national awards. She writes on multimedia in schools for the Times Educational Supplement, the UK's national teaching newspaper and has written for books and journals. She is the author of "Making Multimedia in the Classroom: A Teachers' Guide" published in October 2000. Current projects include making movies as part of curriculum work. She is dedicated to creative and collaborative work using digital technologies within the school curriculum.
