Mr. Cutil came to my classroom on 19/03/2025 and 25/03/2025, to organize two Warm Data Labs for two sessions of GEK1023. These labs are technology-free discussion workshops in which students are encouraged to exchange about complex topics and connect them to the class content. This aims at encouraging direct dialogue, complex reasoning, critical thinking and to see the interconnection between the various topics discussed. Students have reacted very well to these workshops, some of them even described it as a therapeutic experience that allowed them to share personal life experiences and reflect on their own learning journey. They also appreciated the removal of the traditional barrier between students and instructors and were happy to freely ask questions and express their thoughts in a non-academic way.
