Creativity and Life Picture Book Workshop
Content:
We, including students and teachers in Hong Kong, all look for creativity. What is the relationship between creativity and daily life? Living in a unique cultural environment such that of Hong Kong, how can teachers stimulate creativity of students and provoke them to create? Can creativity apply to our daily lives? On the other hand, can students relate the creative ideas that have learned from the arts to other subjects?
Life Picture Book uses images to explore a variety of media and allow teachers to develop students’ creativity and learning. Through presentation on theories, discussion, and group work, the workshop explores the issues of creativity and help teachers to learn about how picture books are produced and used with students.
Speaker:
Ms. Chan Lai Yee – Graduated at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, BFA and the Polytechnic University, MA in Design. Worked as a designer in commercial sector after graduation, part-time tutor at the Department of Design, Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education and teacher of the "Art Teacher Training and Collaboration Project" organized by the Hong Kong Society for Education Through Art. Published 《親子情畫 ABC 》 and 《幼兒美育自由行》 in 2003 and 2008 respectively. Recently work at schools as Artist-in-Residence for teacher training and school-based curriculum development.
創意與生活繪本工作坊

內容：
每個人都想擁有創意，包括學生和老師。創意和生活有甚麼關係？ 身處在香港這個特殊的文化環境裡，教師怎樣才能引發學生創意和創作行為？並且將創意應用到生活裡？另一方面，學生在藝術科所習得的創意又能否跟其他學科連結在一起？
生活繪本是以圖像記述的方式作探索媒介，讓教師從生活啟發學生的創意與學習。工作坊透過理論分析、討論及分組活動探討以上的議題，並藉著 DIY 創作，了解繪本的功能與製作過程。
講者：
陳麗儀女士 – 香港中文大學藝術系學士及香港理工大學設計系碩士。畢業後從事商業設計，曾任香港專業教育學院 (IVE) 設計系兼職講師及香港美術教育協會舉辨之「美術教師培訓與協作計劃」導師。 2003 及 2008 分別著書《親子情畫 ABC 》及《幼兒美育自由行》。近年在多間學校作駐校藝術家，推動校本視覺藝術發展及老師培訓。
