*Students may choose to carry out a research project instead of taking 3 specialist courses. The research project comprises supervised work on an agreed topic with the research project supervisor.

-          Contemporary Issues in Language Education Within the Humanities

Students of Educational Studies can choose any 6 of the following Specialist Courses:

(Courses may not be offered every semester or every year, and the offering of courses is subject to sufficient enrolment. In this connection, some of the Specialist Courses may or may not be available to students from other Areas of Focus.)

    -          Curriculum Policy, Innovation and Implementation

    -          Evaluation of Pedagogical Innovations

    -          Principles and Practices of Innovative Instructional Design

    -          Principles and Trends in Curriculum Development

    -          Successful Test Making for Teachers

    -          Teaching for Creativity and Critical Thinking
