Accomodation Booking & Payment
Accommodation at the institute is provided for participants at the following rate:
| A: | HK$300/US$40 (per night) | Double room (not sharing with anyone) (not equipped with independent toilet/bathroom) |
| B: | HK$150/US$20 (per night) | Double room (sharing with another person)(not equipped with toilet/bathroom) |
| C: | HK$600/US$80 (per night) | Flat (a living room with 1 bedroom-double bed) (equipped with independent toilet/bathroom) |
| D: | HK$750/US$100 (per night) | Flat (a living room with 2 bedrooms-each with single bed)(equipped with independent toilet/bathroom) |
Payment must be made by bank drafts*.
Bank drafts must be
1. Denominated in either Hong Kong Dollars (preferred) or in US Dollars; and
2. Made payable to "The Hong Kong Institute of Education" with the name of the participant and the purpose of payment specified as " Gender Equity Education Conference Accommodation" on the back; and
3. Submitted by post to the following address:Organizing Committee of the Gender Equity Education Conference c/o Miss Beatrice Lam, Department of Educational Psychology, Counselling and Learning Needs, The Hong Kong Institute of Education, 10 Lo Ping Road, Tai Po, The New Territories, Hong Kong.
Full pre-payment is necessary
* Local participants may pay by cheques (denominated in HK Dollars) by post.
Please indicate your accommodation needs by emails and make the corresponding payment after our confirmation of room availability before May 14; otherwise, your requests will not be entertained.
Since the number of rooms is limited, accommodation is offered on a first-come-first-served basis.
Participants who are interested in lodgings in the city centre are welcome to make enquiries with us for information and recommendations.
Deadline for Accomodation Booking
All accommodation booking MUST BE CONFIRMED BEFORE MAY 14,2006. NO LATE REQUESTS WILL BE ENTERTAINED.
