Dr. Qian Haiyan, Co-director of Asia Pacific Centre of Leadership and Change (APCLC) and Dr. Lu Jiafang, Associate Head of the Department of Education Policy and Leadership and Deputy Director of APCLC, presented at the 2019 Greater Bay Area School Principal Forum on November 23 in Shenzhen.
The Forum was co-organized by the Guangdong Academy of Education, Hong Kong Principals Professional Development Association, and Macau Association of Education.
The event attracted more than 200 participants from universities, schools and research centres in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau.
The Forum was initiated to launch a federation of school principals across the Greater Bay Area. News agencies such as Xinhua News and the People’s Daily reported the Forum and the initiation of the Principals’ federation.
APCLC and EPL will also continue to play an active role in principal development and research in Greater Bay Area. Through doing this they hope to help take school leader development and connection to the Next Level.
