Dean's Research Award Winners

FEHD announced the winners of the Dean’s Research Awards in Journal Articles and Research Engagement and Impact 2020/21.

The Journal Article Award recognizes journal articles of outstanding quality in terms of originality, rigour, and significance. Winner of the award Dr Henry Ho said, “I feel deeply honored and grateful for receiving the award. Thank you to the Faculty and Department for the recognition. This encouragement will keep me motivated in my research endeavors to identify and cultivate positive psychological resources for promoting well-being and health in the community.”

Dr. Margarita Pavlova, winner of Research Engagement and Impact Award, commented that the award was recognition of her “efforts to support international sustainable development through skills development to achieve a greener economy.”

“This research has been influential in nurturing change at various levels including in Hong Kong, Asia-Pacific region and also internationally, through the UNESCO-UNEVOC international Centre in Bonn, Germany, of which EdUHK is an important part.

I am very happy to have been recognised, through this important award, for having made a useful and influential contribution, through my research, writing and development activities at EdUHK, in promoting these important initiatives.”
