FEHD welcomes new research students

2020-11-26

FEHD held an online party to welcome new research students this month. Both current students and staff were on hand to introduce life at EdUHK and make the new students feel right at home.

“We now have students from over 12 countries and places covering Europe, Africa, and across all Asia. We’re proud of the diverse community we have here,” said Acting Dean Prof Tsui Kwok Tung. “We endevour to provide a learning environment that promotes open interaction among doctoral researchers and academics.” Prof Tsui also introduced new students to the Faculty Management Team and research supervisors.

Associate Dean Prof Christine Halse helped new students by outlining the various forms of support available to researchers, including e-resources, academic activities and social events organized by the faculty.

The Faculty Higher Degree Research Support Committee led the party games to help everybody get in on the fun.
