Introduction
Hong Kong is a multi-cultural society, with different ethnic minorities, including Indonesians, Filipinos, British, Indians, Pakistanis, Nepalis, Japanese and Thais, taking Hong Kong as their home and some taking roots in Hong Kong for generations. All ethnic groups have unique characteristics and cultures. Mutual respect, knowing each other and understanding of relevant issues are important for cultural exchange and ethnic integration. Therefore, the University has set up this page to enhance a multi-cultural and inclusive campus.

In addition to text translation, Microsoft Translator also provides real-time dialogue translation as subtitles and photo translation of road signs, menus, etc. into different languages. This tool can make communication barrier-free and strengthen interaction among people with different languages. Through daily dialogue, we can explore the characteristics of different languages, increase cultural interaction, and broaden our horizons. Through different devices, we can choose translations in different languages, including Cantonese (traditional), English, Urdu, Hindi, Japanese and Korean...etc., to communicate simultaneously on the same platform.
Yandex Translate
In addition to text translation, Yandex Translate also provides reading function (both the original and translated texts), as well as Chinese pinyin, Romaji for Japanese, and Hangeul for Korean for short sentence.

Race Discrimination Ordinance
To ensure racial integration, the Policy adopts the definitions of unlawful acts under the Race Discrimination Ordinance, including direct racial discrimination, indirect racial discrimination, racial harassment, racial vilification and discrimination by way of victimization.
