Following two days of academic exchange and campus activities at Shandong University of Finance and Economics (SDUFE), the delegation from The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) embarked on a cultural immersion journey and concluded their exchange with significant outcomes.

Pilgrimage to the Confucian Heartland & Ascent of Mount Tai
On May 14–15, the delegation traveled to Qufu, the sacred birthplace of Confucianism. They visited the the Temple of Confucius (孔廟), the Confucius Family Mansion (孔府), and the Confucius Forest (孔林) (collectively known as the “Three Confucian Sites”), experiencing firsthand the enduring legacy and contemporary relevance of Confucian philosophy. The following day, the group ascended Mount Tai, paramount of China’s Five Sacred Mountains. Amidst its awe-inspiring landscape, they contemplated the ancient verse “會當凌絕頂 一覽眾山小”– embodying China’s aspirational spirit and resilience.
