A1.    You can call the general enquiry number, 2948 6714, or contact the responsible staff direct during office hours.
Q2.    What can I do if I need immediate assistance from the Estates Office during non-office hours?
A2.    You can contact the security staff at 2948 8002 or ext 8002 during non-office hours.

Q3.    In case of emergence, how can I ask for assistance?

A3.   You can:
        - call 2948 8000 or ext 8000, or
        - press the white button of the aiphones installed in the public areas of the campus, and talk to the security staff.
Q4.    Are students eligible to apply for parking permit?
A4.   In-service part-time student who meets the following conditions is eligible to apply for an annual student parking permit:
        (a) studying an evening or a Saturday course or both and holding a valid driving licence ; AND
        (b) The vehicle concerned should be owned by the student or his/her family member, and be covered by Third Party Insurance.
Q5.    How can an eligible student apply for a parking permit?
A5.   Upon completion and submission of the form, Application for In-service Part-time Student Carpark Permit, to the Estates Office together with the payment of the registration fee, a parking permit is to be issued to the eligible student. At present, the registration fee payable is HK$115 per programme year and the applicant has to pay the full fees for the entire duration of his/her programme when submitting the application. The permit will be valid until the completion of the programme.

Q6.    Where else can I get the application form?

A6.   The application form is also available at the Service Counter of the Estates Office and the Security Control Centre.
Q7.   What is the stipulated time of parking for the annual parking holder?
A7.   The duration of parking for the annual parking permit holder is from 7:00 AM to 12:00 midnight during the validity period of the parking permit.
Q8.   Are in-service students taking full-time Block Release Professional Development course or summer term course eligible to apply for parking permit?
A8.   An in-service student taking full-time Block Release Professional Development course or summer term course is also eligible to apply for student parking permit. The student should hold a valid driving licence and the vehicle concerned should be owned by the student or his/her family member and be covered by Third Party Insurance.
Q9.   How can the eligible students taking full-time Block Release Professional Development course or summer term course apply for a parking permit?
A9.   A parking permit is to be issued to the eligible student upon completion and submission of the electronic form, 'Application for In-service Student Carpark Permit in Tai Po Campus during the Full-time Block Release Professional Development Course / Summer Term Course', to the Estates Office together with the payment of the registration fee of HK$400 by the student. The application form is also available at the Service Counter of the Estates Office and the Security Control Centre. The parking permit is valid from the beginning of the month when the course starts to the end of the month when the course completes and the registration fee is subject to a yearly review.
Q10.   What is the stipulated time of parking for the full-time Block Release Professional Development course or summer term course parking permit holder?
A10.   The duration of parking for the full-time Block Release Professional Development course or summer term course parking permit holder is from 7:00 AM to 12:00 midnight during the validity period of the parking permit.
