Assets and Space Management
² assets management
² space planning and management
² booking/hire of venues
 
Repairs and Maintenance
² planned maintenance works
² routine maintenance works
² ad-hoc repair and maintenance works
² emergency repairs
 
Systems Operations and Energy Management
² operation of various plants and equipment
² management of energy consumption and implementation of energy-saving measures
 
Estates Management
² day-to-day management of the University's premises and facilities
² management of quarters
² management of car parks and traffic control
² 24-hour security service
² management of keys
 
Health, Safety, Environment and Crisis Management
² safety management
² health and hygiene services
² environmental management for sustainability of the campus
² crisis management and contingency planning
 
Event Management
² provision of logistic support for events
² display of banners/display materials in common areas
² provision of notice boards
 
Amenities and Sports Facility
² administration of sports facilities on Tai Po Campus
² administration of sports facilities at Pak Shek Kok Sports Centre

Performance Pledges

We strive to provide excellent services to our clients. Being pro-active and committed to upgrading our services, we are pleased to state our 2018/19 performance targets below:

Acknowledgement of written requests ² Within 3 workings days
Completion of minor repair works ² Within 7 working days upon receipt of request or mutually agreed time frame
Planned preventive maintenance
- Notification to users ² At least 3 working days prior to the scheduled date
- Completion of works ² By the scheduled date
Response to emergency calls and emergency alarms in washrooms
Arrival on the scene ² Within 5 minutes upon receipt of calls
Issuance of staff car park permits ² Within 3 working days subject to provision of all required information
Campus cleaning requests
- Completion of requests ² Within 3 working days or mutually agreed time frame
- Arrival on the scene for urgent cleaning services ² Within 15 minutes
Completion of moving works ² Within 3 working days or mutually agreed time frame
Outgoing Mail ² Items received by 11:00 am will reach the Post Office on the same day
Feedback on Transport Services ² Acknowledge receipt and refer to appropriate service provider within 1 working day; and
² Reply within 3 working days after acknowledgement or follow up with service provider if it has not been replied yet.
Booking of Official Vehicles
- Confirmation of availability ² Immediate for request by phone or within half working day for request by e-mail/fax
Booking of Non-departmental Meeting Rooms
- Confirmation of availability ² Immediate for request by phone or within half working day for request by i-Booking/e-mail/fax
Booking of barbecue pits
- Confirmation of availability ² Immediate for application made in person or within 2 working days for booking via the intranet
