Students of the Department of Early Childhood Education (ECE) have been performing excellently, gaining recognition within and without the University. In April 2019, Ms. LIU Zinan (劉子楠) and Ms. LEUNG Hiu Wing (梁曉詠), final year students of our BEd (ECE) programme, as well as Ms. NG Ka Yee (吳嘉儀), a final year student of our PGDE (ECE) programme, earned awards in the Sixth Hong Kong Outstanding Prospective Teachers Election, hosted by Hong Kong Prospective Teachers Association.
The Election celebrates the outstanding performance of teachers-to-be, with particular emphasis being placed on their teaching abilities and career aspirations. The winning of the awards reflects the dedication of our students to getting themselves ready for the demanding job as a teacher, as well as the contribution of the University in promoting the quality of education in Hong Kong.
