Teaching and home-school collaboration skills for facilitating children’s readiness for primary school

School transition is an important developmental milestone in young children’s learning. A good primary school adaptation benefits children’s future learning and all-round development. In this second 幼教說, a community engagement online forum series, Dr. Eva Lau, associate professor and associate head of our department, will share some teaching strategies and home-school collaboration techniques that will support children's transition to primary school. Biography of Speaker 

Dr. Lau Yi Hung, Eva is an associate head (Staff & Students Affairs) and associate professor at Department of Early Childhood Education of the Education University of Hong Kong. Her research interest lies in family influences on children's school readiness and school adjustment. She also explores the influences of various parenting behaviors on children's social behaviors.
