Module Code 單元編號 TLS6068 Module Title 單元名稱 INTEGRATE HIGH IMPACT PRACTICE IN THE DESIGN OF SERVICE-LEARNING IN SCHOOLS 高效能實踐與學校中服務研習課程設計的整合 Module Synopsis 單元概要 This course will provide participants with theoretical and practical knowledge about how to integrate “High Impact Practice” (HIP) into the design of service-learning projects/activities for school students. Participants will gain knowledge about service- learning models, essential elements in the design of high quality service-learning, how to facilitate students’ reflection, assessment for student learning in service-learning, etc. Participants will gain a holistic understanding of service-learning practice and develop their professional capacity in the design and delivery of service-learning with reference to school settings in Hong Kong. Direct experience of designing and delivering a service- learning project will be a part of the course experience.
