It helps students of the course to identify appropriate teaching strategies to design lessons and evaluate the outcomes for enhancing student learning in schools. A range of evidence-based, theoretical and socio-cultural perspectives will be introduced to analyze the learning processes in the context of learning and teaching in schools. Students will be guided to explore a range of teaching strategies that fosters enhancement in students’ learning processes. These include strategies that promote active learning and engagement in learning. Students will be involved in authentic learning through the observation of and critique on exemplar lessons. They will have the opportunity to design teaching strategies related to their subject areas.
