Module Code 單元編號 TLS5042 Module Title 單元名稱 EFFECTIVE LESSON OBSERVATION AND EVALUATION (PANEL, TEACHER) – II 有效的觀課與評課(科主任及教師) – II Module Synopsis 單元概要 The programme facilitates the establishment of schools into a learning community in that the deputy principals I panel heads are able to understand the role of senior management in supporting a whole school approach to the improvement of teaching and learning so to promote a quality lesson observation culture. With whole school participation, teachers are able to develop their ability in analysing a lesson for the improvement of pupils' teaching and learning through collaboratively plan, teach and observe a lesson. The programme comprises a series of lectures, school visits, lesson observation and tutorials that set the theoretical framework for cultivating a learning community through conducting Learning Study (LS). Participants are expected to demonstrate an understanding of the theories and practices of lesson observation and evaluation introduced in the programme and relate them to their own school contexts. They are expected to develop the ability to implement effective lesson observation through a trial lesson and conferencing skills through conducting post-lesson conference.
