Module Code 單元編號 TLS5039 Module Title 單元名稱 INTEGRATING SELF-DIRECTED LEARNING IN DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE CLASSROOM 結合自主學習策略的有效課堂教學 Module Synopsis 單元概要 Self-directed learning, a construct that has developed considerably over the past three decades, has not been widely adopted in Hong Kong schools due to insufficient professional training in this respect. This course engages in-service teachers in co-planning of lessons to help students independently plan, regulate their learning strategies, and assess their own learning. It offers an opportunity for teachers to work in collaboration and to conduct cross-disciplinary peer review of teaching with their counterparts within and across schools. It also nurtures the development of a learning community amongst participants.
