Module Code 單元編號 SED4035 Module Title 單元名稱 INTERVENTION STRATEGIES OF CHINESE LEARNING FOR SEN STUDENTS 教導有特殊需要學生的中國語文學習介入策略 Module Synopsis 單元概要 This course examines the use of various school-based intervention strategies for enhancing the Chinese Learning of SEN students at various contexts of regular classroom, remedial settings and home-school collaboration. In particular, relevant theoretical concepts and the Three-tier Intervention Model in Hong Kong are critically examined and applied for supporting and improving the Chinese learning of these students. The emphasis is put on the design, implementation and evaluation of school-based Chinese language programmes for supporting the SEN students’ Chinese learning. The utilization of community resources and parent-school network to enhance the effectiveness of intervention programmes, aimed at supporting students with SEN in learning Chinese, is stressed.
