The contents include the organisational, ethical, and legal considerations related to educational psychology practice in Hong Kong such as code of professional conduct of the Hong Kong Psychological Society. Students will be trained to make well-informed choices when dealing with professional problems and ethical dilemmas. The course also covers current issues such as video gaming, digital usage, and edtech. Additionally, students will need to discuss and analyse current issues in educational psychology practice, including school crisis management, dealing with media, different types of bullying and positive education. The course will involve a wide range of topics that are highly applicable to the local context.
