Module Code 單元編號 PSY6116 Module Title 單元名稱 CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION Module Synopsis 單元概要 This course aims to help students gain a comprehensive understanding of principles of curriculum design of different levels or types of schooling, teaching methods, assessment of learning and curriculum policies, as they apply to the contexts and issues educational psychologists are likely to meet. A systemic view of children’s learning problems will be emphasized. In addition, there will be focus on social-emotional development of students including, positive education, social emotional learning, and mindfulness. Curriculum and instructional issues for both mainstream (K – 12) and special schools in Hong Kong and globally will be reviewed.
