Module Code 單元編號 PRJ6003 Module Title 單元名稱 PRACTITIONER-BASED RESEARCH PROJECT Module Synopsis 單元概要 This course revolves around the application of the knowledge and strategies that participants have learnt from the other core courses, with special relevance to the courses titled “Teaching Strategies to Enhance Student Learning” as well as “Methods in Research for Learning”. It is aimed at helping participants to apply a cycle of reflection, observation and action by undertaking an action research project in a school context. The project will normally consist of an inquiry on areas such as student learning, pedagogy, and curriculum design and implementation. It will emphasize the application of relevant theories in practice for enhancing student learning. The project requires the demonstration of competence and skills in collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting empirical research data within the mode of practitioner-based action research. Participants will be supported by tutors in the design and conduction of their projects, and the learning of this course will take place authentically through actions in school, and in collaboration with school teachers.
