It intends to provide students with an understanding of their significance to the national identity of Korean people and global human history. This course enables students to analyse various aspects of the Korean culture, including historical events, traditional arts, architecture, literature, language, religion, and customs through the lens of cultural heritage. Students will also explore questions such as: What are cultural sites? What is the social and cultural basis for identifying cultural sites as globally significant?
