APPLIED ROBOTICS WITH APPLICATIONS TO SPECIAL EDUCATION |
Module Synopsis 單元概要 |
Robotics involves design, creation, operation and use of robots. It develops intelligent machines that can replace humans and replicate human actions. Many intelligent machines are built to work in industrial automation processes, or used in dangerous environments. Recently, the trends in using robotics in STEM related subjects and new ways of using it as an educational tool, particularly for special education, to provide diverse learning experiences are becoming popular. This course aims to provide students with basic knowledge in robotics where theory is applied to real-world applications, and for special education. The purpose is to understand how robotics theory can be applied practically from an engineering point of view to create models for analysis, simulation, and solutions on problems that focus on the effective use of robots in real-world problems, and for special education. |
